Speaking and facilitation
I speak and facilitate with executive audiences, leadership teams, and boards. My aim in a room is recognition before prescription, so people leave seeing their own situation more clearly.
I have run operations inside a national nonprofit, a large public school district, a multi-state school network, and a global bank during a crisis. Audiences get the view from the seat rather than the view from the deck.

A panel on the workforce shifts reaching Black women first, what those shifts signal about retention and leadership pipelines, and how leaders are rebuilding influence while the ground moves.
Most organizations do not fail at planning. They fail in the space between a board-approved plan and a Tuesday morning, where the plan meets calendars, budgets, and people who already have full days. I show leaders how to close that space.
Confusion about who decides costs more than any wrong decision. I walk teams through naming decision rights out loud, matching authority to responsibility, and holding accountability without drama.
Running many sites raises a standing question: what gets standardized, and what stays local. I offer a way to answer it that respects the people doing the work in each place.
Organizations under pressure ask people to absorb what the structure should carry. I help leaders see the difference and redistribute the load before their strongest people leave.
I take keynotes, moderated panels, half-day workshops, and closed sessions with a leadership team or board. Workshops work best with a group small enough that everyone speaks, and I will tell you honestly when a keynote serves your goal better than a workshop would.
Sessions can be virtual or in person. I am based in Washington, DC and I travel.
